Our Personal Injury, Contentious Probate, and Clinical Negligence teams all received commendation in the 2025 edition of the guide.

Personal injury

Our team, headed by Devon and Somerset’s Solicitor of the Year 2024 James McNally, was praised for its “stellar track record in niche areas of personal injury, in particular Animals Act, abuse, and criminal injuries compensation authority claims.”

James himself was named “the ultimate expert in dog bite claims”, while Elizabeth Duncan (described in glowing terms as ‘a shining star in the PI firmament of lawyers in the South West’ was noted for being “excellent with vulnerable clients”.
