Our ‘outstanding efforts and contribution to the NSPCC’ was cited, alongside the impact we have made on the lives of children and young people.
To celebrate the achievement lawyers from our abuse team will be travelling up from Somerset to attend the Awards Ceremony in London later this summer.
HRH The Countess of Wessex, who is a patron of the NSPCC, will be presenting the award to us.
Among the VIP’s in attendance will be Dame Esther Rantzen, who is the founder of Childline.
NSPCC CEO Peter Wanless has sent us a letter of congratulation in which he says:
“I hope you feel proud that your dedication and excellence in volunteering is recognised by your peers and colleagues. Keep up the hard work as people like you are vital to the success of the NSPCC and everything we do for children.”
Our team is overwhelmed to have won such a prestigious award, which was entirely unexpected:
“It is really gratifying to know that our efforts have been appreciated at the highest level .It’s also very rewarding to feel that we have made a real difference to the lives of children in Somerset“
Nick Arthur, the managing partner of Somerset abuse solicitors, Slee Blackwell, has added his congratulations:
“This is a great honour for Slee Blackwell and it reflects well on the team who have worked so hard on behalf of the NSPCC. They are a credit to the firm and we are extremely proud of their achievements.”
